For the Gale Watch, southwest winds 25 to 35 knots with gusts up to 45 knots and waves 6 to 11 feet possible. * WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Vermilion to Geneva-on-the-Lake OH. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 4 PM EDT Thursday. For the Gale Watch, from Friday morning through late Friday night. * IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible hazardous conditions.
